Dale Edward Hanson was born June 22, 1918 to Edward A. and Tillie Holverson Hanson. He died Oct. 5, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Hanson served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 30th Bomber Squadron, 19th Bomber Group, Heavy in World War II and was MIA/KIA/FOD in Rabaul, Pacific Ocean area. He was awarded the Silver Star.
