Boreke Feikema has received a commission as an ensign in the naval reserve after completing airship flight training at the Lakehurst, New Jersey naval air station. He has been assigned to a blimp squadron for patrol duty. Ensign Feikema attended Morningside College, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1942, after lettering in football and basketball and making all-conference and Little America teams. He was a member of Phi Sigma fraternity. His father John Feikema resides at Renner, South Dakota.
