Dewayne Nielsen Eyler was born Dec. 1, 1923 to Clarence and Anna E. Nielsen Eyler. He died Sept. 14, 1944 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Flight Officer Eyler served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was killed in an airplane accident near Peterson Field, CO.
