Frederick Everts Promoted to Major
Frederick Wilson Everts has been promoted from captain to major at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, where he is stationed. He is a brother of Miss Joyce Everts, 1102 Grandview Boulevard, and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Everts of Onawa. He is 25 years of age.
Maj. Everts is a graduate of Moville High School and attended the University of Oklahoma for four years after which he entered military service. He was stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, prior to his transfer to Camp McCoy in November.
