Iven Cecil Dowell was born Sept. 8, 1921 to Irvin Charles and Edna Jane Perkins Dowell. He died Feb. 7, 1945 and is buried in Clearfield Cemetery, Ringgold Co., IA.
Pvt. Dowell served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. G, 417th Infantry, 76th Division and was KIA in Germany.
