Robert G. Dew was born Jan. 17, 1921 to Glenn Ray and Caroline Helen Ellison Dew. He died Sept. 27, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Sgt. Dew served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. I, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division and was MIA/KIA in Holland and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
