Private Glenn C. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis, 921 S. Fairmount Street, now is stationed at Camp White, Oregon.

Private First-Class Glen C. Davis left, Monday, for Camp Adair, Oregon, after spending 10 days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis, 921 S. Fairmont Street.

Glen Calvin Davis was born Sept. 22, 1923 to Fred Ellsworth and Dorothy May Comstock Davis. He died Oct. 22, 1944 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Davis served in World War II with the U.S. Army 361st Infantry and died in Italy from wounds received in action.
