William Ralph Carroll was born Feb. 5, 1926 to Ralph W. and Grace M. Hughes Carroll. He died May 25, 1978 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Pvt. Carroll served in World War II with the U.S. Army 218th Quartermaster Company.
