Wayne Oliver Calkins was born Sept. 16, 1924. He died Nov. 30, 2003 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA. Wayne served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
His parents were Charles A. and Susie O. Brown Calkins of Webster City, Iowa.
