John Richard Berg was born July 12, 1921 to Theodore and Elizabeth “Betty" Larson Berg. He died Dec. 12, 2006 and is buried in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Russellville, Arkansas.
Pvt. Berg served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was wounded in action in Belgium and was awarded the Purple Heart.
