Robert E. “Bob" Benson was born Jan. 10, 1922 to Ira L. and Lena Margaret Jacobson Benson. He died Nov. 24, 2015 and is buried in Story City Cemetery, Story City, IA.
Bob served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Chincoteague (AVP-24).
