George Carter Bruce was born Aug. 18, 1906 to Ulysses Grant and Ethel Estes Bruce. He died Oct. 24, 1986 and is buried in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.
Cpl. Bruce served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
