Robert Donald Brinton was born Sept. 28, 1920 to Edward Donald and Leta I. Winterfield Brinton. He died Oct. 23, 2000.
Cpl. Brinton served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II in New Caledonia with the H&S Battery, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division.
