John Charles Blumenschein was born Apr. 23, 1918 to Edward W. and Katherine Grace Weeks Blumenschein. He died Dec. 14, 1958 and is buried in Amor Interno, San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Dr. Blumenschein served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the medical corps at the Ontario Army Air Field in California. He later established the Honduran Mission in the Lake Yojoa area of Honduras where he served with his wife, Marian, until he lost his fight with cancer.
