Onawa, Iowa: Charles F. Benjamin, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Benjamin, is home on furlough. He was commissioned a second lieutenant at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, field artillery school, April 22. He left here for service July 14, 1942. His brother Daniel Benjamin, was promoted to corporal at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, recently.

Daniel N. Benjamin was born Oct. 22, 1911 to Hays L. and Theresa C. Ryan Benjamin. He died Sept. 16, 1996 and is buried in Onawa City Cemetery, Onawa, IA.
