Gets Commission - Ensign Porter Beggs, of the Navy Supply Corps Reserve, is one of 300 young officers who graduated April 2 from the Navy Supply Corps School at Harvard University and has received his “general service” commission. Ensign Beggs arrived here Saturday to spend a four-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Porter S. Beggs, 511 31st Street, before taking up a new assignment.
