Joseph H. Baranowski, son of Mrs. Kate S. Baranowski, 410 W. Third Street, has been promoted to rank of sergeant. He is with an air force squadron in the Caribbean area.

Men and Women In Service
Sergeant Joseph Baranowski, who has been serving overseas for two years with an air corps ground crew in the Carribean area, is home for the first time on a 30-day furlough and is visiting with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Baranowski, 909 A. Alice Street. He will return to his station overseas on May 10.
