Marion Woodrow Baker was born Sept. 3, 1918 to Joseph Marion and Anna Mae Clouse Baker. He died Feb. 23, 1943 and is buried in Bethel Chapel Cemetery, Liberty, IA.
Sgt. Baker served in World War II with the U.S. Army 183rd Field Artillery. He died at the station hospital, Fort Lewis, Washington while in the service of his country.
