Loren Eugene Atkinson was born Jan. 20, 1915 to Lee William and Edna Pearl Meyers Atkinson. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Maxwell Cemetery, Maxwell, IA.
Pvt. Atkinson served in World War II with the U.S. Ninth Army 104th Infantry Division, 415th Infantry Regiment and was MIA/KIA in Germany.
