Don Whitten Atkinson, Jr. was born Sept. 17, 1915 to Don W. (Sr.) and Freda A. Pierce Atkinson. He died Jan. 4, 1981 and is buried in Greenacres Memorial Park, Ferndale, WA.
Petty Officer Atkinson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and was stationed at a New Guinea Naval base.
