Roger Lyle Arends was born May 26, 1919 to Boyka and Louise M. Hassebrock Arends. He died Dec. 9, 1979 and is buried in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kamrar, IA.
Roger served with the U.S. Army in World War II with HQ Battery XII Corps Artillery.
