Elmer Lee Angle was born Dec. 24, 1927 to Walter Lee and Una Mae De Witt Angle. He died Aug. 9, 2013 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Elmer served with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS Salerno Bay (CVE-110) and USS Bennington (CV-20).
