Anthony Henry Anfinson was born Dec. 29, 1921 to Bernard J. and Minerva B. Sheldahl Anfinson. He died Aug. 1, 1990 and is buried in Fjeldberg Cemetery, Huxley, IA.
Sgt. Anfinson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division and was a paratrooper participating in the fighting on Luzon. He was awarded the Bronze Star.
