Raymond Leroy Allen was born June 3, 1918 to Clarence W. and Jennie Hausen Allen.
Cpl. Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps where he graduated from the Training Command’s aircraft radio mechanics school, studying the servicing of radio equipment used on U.S. bombers and fighter planes.
