George Howard Allen was born Dec. 21, 1911 to Frank E. and Belle Selby Allen. He died Sept. 16, 1943 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Petty Officer Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was killed in an airplane accident at Corpus Christi, TX.
