James L. Allan died Feb. 2, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Sgt. Allan served in World War II with the U.S. Army 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
