Donald Supernois Said Missing; On Rowan
Mrs. Mary Supernois, 300 Georgia avenue, has been notified that her son, Chief Petty Officer Donald Supernois, 29, had been missing in action.
He had been a member of the crew of the destroyer Rowan, which was reported by the navy department Friday to have been sunk off the coast of Italy on September 11. Supernois has been in the navy 11 years and was one of Rowan’s crew since it was commissioned in 1939.
