ROBERT N. SEE
Robert N. See, 37, former Waterloo Daily Courier reporter, died Sunday at the Presidio, an army post at San Francisco, Cal., relatives here learned Tuesday. No information was received regarding the cause of his death.
Born Aug. 11, 1907, in Waterloo, son of the late Guy and Lillian See, he graduated from East Waterloo high school and worked several years after that as a reporter for the Waterloo Tribune and for the Waterloo Daily Courier. He left here in 1932 for California with his brother Walter. Ten years ago he enlisted in the army and served in Alaska several years before returning to California.
Surviving are two brothers, Walter, San Diego, Cal., and Kenneth, Los Angeles, Cal., and one sister, Mrs. S. F. Freeman, Seattle, Wash., five uncles in Waterloo, R. B. Bennett, 872 Fowler street, Claude W. See, 622 Dawson street, Clyde B. See, 413 Broadway, and Roy E. See, 132 Rhey street; and one aunt, Mrs. Morley Haynes, 812 West Sixth street. Both parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at the Presidio.

MASTER SERGEANT ROBERT N. SEE
Funeral and burial services for Master Sgt. Robert N. See, 37, formerly of Waterloo, who died Jan. 7 of a heart attack due to conditions aggravated by service in Alaska, were conducted at Fort Scott, Cal., and burial was at National cemetery in the Presidio, San Francisco, Cal.
Sergeant See, who was a former employe (sic) of the Waterloo Tribune and the Waterloo Daily Courier, enlisted in the armed forces in 1934, served in Fort Ruger, Hawaii, Fort Richardson, Alaska, and was at the Dutch Harbor at the time of the first Japanese bombing attack. He had served at various Pacific posts during the past two years. He was the son of the late Guy and Lillian Bennett See, both of Waterloo.
