MEN IN SERVICE.
Private Elias Salem and Private Robert James Salem, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Salem, 1013 Jennings Street, are in service and another son expects to go soon. Elias recently completed a course in mechanics with the army air corps at Sheppard Field, Texas, Robert is in the medical corps at Camp Barkley, Texas, Donald Eugene 18, attending Trinity High School, expects to enter the service soon. Their father served in the Army in World War I.

IN UNIFORM.
Donald E. Salem, radioman, third class, 1013 Jennings street, and Lawrence Adcock, chief water tender, 2214 S. Olive street, are serving on the U.S.S. Ancon now in Tokyo Bay. Their ship took part in the invasions of north Africa, Sicily, Salerno and Normandy and in other landings in the Pacific, including Okinawa.
