Michael T. O’Brien, seaman first class, U.S.N.R., 2509 Jones Street, served on the escort air-craft carrier, U.S.S. Chenango, when it carried 1,357 released prisoners of war from Nagasaki, Japan, to a redistribution point at Okinawa.
