Sioux Cityan Is Among Wounded Returned to U.S.

Fort Lewis, Washington – Men wounded in the battles of the Belgium bulge, the drives against the Siegfried line and all along the German border have arrived in Madigan General hospital here, Col. W.G. Jenkins, commanding officer has announced.

Listed according to home states the new arrivals include;

Iowa – Pvt. Howard L. Burns, Coon Rapids, S. Sgt. Lloyd Russell Hennick, Estherville; Pvt. Glen Montange, 1701 Isabella Street, Sioux City; Pfc. Dale E. Smith, Cedar Rapids; T. Sgt. Earl L. Waddell, Charles City.

Pvt. Glen Montange, whose wife and daughter reside at 1701 Isabella street, is at Madigan General Hospital in Tacoma, Wash. He was wounded in the ankle in the battles of the Belgian bulge.
