MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
Private W.R. Metz, a member of the army air corps located at Boca Raton field, Florida, is spending a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Metz, 312 S. Helen Street.

IN UNIFORM
Wilbur R. Metz, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Metz, 312 S. Helen street, recently was discharged from the army at Fort Sheridan, Ill., after having spent 26 months in the European theater of operations. He was graduated from East high school in June 1942, and entered the army in December of that year. He held the rank of private first class at the time of his discharge.
