Sergeant John McGlauflin of the field artillery branch at Camp Forrest, Tennessee, is spending a 12-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.M. McGlauflin, 1623 Douglas Street.

IN UNIFORM
Sgt. John McGlauflin, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. McGlauflin, 1623 Douglas street, has just returned to the United States after being overseas since December, 1943. He spent the last three months in a hospital in England following an operation on his knee. While overseas he saw action in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, where he was chief of a field artillery unit. He now is in a hospital in Denver, Colo., and from there he will be sent to a convalescent hospital before receiving a furlough to visit his parents.
