REVIVE MEMORIES OF HOME TOWN

With a 12th A. A. F. B-25 Group in the Mediterranean Theater—When Second Lt. Glen McCord joined a 12th Air Force B-25 medium bombardment group in the Mediterranean theater last December, he soon found Capt. Richard T. Lindeberg helping him revive memories of the old home town as both officers come from Sioux City, Ia.

In the same bombing group here, a 12th Air Force Mitchell unit which is currently engaged in the battle of Brenner pass, they are also serving in the same squadron.

Since he joined the group, Lt. McCord has been flying as co-pilot of his plane. His wife, Annabell, lives in Marcus, Ia.

Capt. Lindeberg, a graduate of Iowa State College, has been overseas with the unit 29 months and flew 14 combat missions as a bombardier before assuming his present duties. His wife, Joan, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Lindeberg, live at 3020 Stone Park boulevard.
