Cpl. Clarence Heck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Heck, 2601 W. 19th street, has arrived in Alaska where he is to be stationed in a cold weather testing detachment with a radar division.

Sgt. Clarence N. Heck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Heck, 2601 W. 19th street, recently was promoted to his present. He is a radar mechanic with the A. A. F. cold weather testing detachment at Ladd field, Alaska.
