Pvt. Robert J. Gibeau, whose home is at 1401 Isabella street, has been awarded the combat infantryman badge for superior performance of duty in combat in the front lines of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. He is stationed with the 28th division of the infantry under command of Maj. Gen. Norman D. Cota, now in Germany.
