IN UNIFORM
Charles E. Brewick, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Brewick, 11 La Salle avenue, was advanced recently to first lieutenant, it was announced at an air force bomber station in England. He is a navigator of a B-17 Flying Fortress and is a member of a bombardment group, veteran heavy bomber unit of more than two years service in the European theater of operations. He was graduated from Central high school in 1942 and later attended Iowa State College.
