MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
Private First Class Leonard L. Branch, 19, son of Mrs. Mae Branch, 1922 Ingleside Avenue, has been graduated from the armament school at Lowry field, Colorado. Private Branch a former pupil at Central High School entered the army in February. He formerly was a shipping clerk employed by a wholesale drug company here.

ENTITLED TO WEAR TWO UNIT CITATIONS
Pfc. Leonard L. Branch, who returned to the United States last fall after nine months service with the 15th airforce in Italy, is in Sioux City on a 19-day furlough visiting his mother, Mrs. Mae Branch, 1922 Ingleside avenue.
A member of the ground crew, Pvt. Branch, is entitled to wear the presidential unit citation, and the Mediterranean theater ribbon with one battle star. He is now stationed in a B-29 group at Clovis Army airfield, Clovis, N.M. He has been in service two years.
Pfc. Branch, who attended Central high school, was employed by Gaynor-Bagstad company before entering service.
