Norman W. Slothower was born Sept. 18, 1922 to Norman Clark and Anna Katherine Cole Slothower. He died July 4, 1945 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Slothower served in World War II with the U.S. Army 456th Quartermaster Company and 128th Evacuation Hospital and died in Germany while in the service of his country.
