Archie Bekish was born July 4, 1922 to Tony and Mary Chaskowtz Bekish. He died Aug. 8, 1944 and is buried in Floyd Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Sgt. Bekish served in World War II with the U.S. Army 90th Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, 82nd Airborne Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Sgt. Bennett served in World War II with the U.S. Army 222nd Infantry, 42nd Division and was KIA in France.

Lt. Berke served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was killed when an army transport plane crashed near Windsor, Ont. during an electric storm.

Glenn Howard Beyer was born Mary 4, 1919 to Gerrit Jacob and Mae Johanna Pas Beyer. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and has a cenotaph in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, IA. He is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Cpl. Beyer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 60th Coast Artillery Regiment. He became a Japanese POW and was lost at sea on a Japanese prison transport.
