Rex Raymond Wright was born in 1914 to Henry Clay and Dora Elizabeth Mardock Wright. He died Jan. 20, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-Avold, France.

Pvt. Wright served in World War II with the U.S. Army 411th Infantry Regiment, 103rd Infantry Division and died as a POW. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
