John Weis Lichty was born May 29, 1920 to Robert J. and Mildred Weis Lichty. He died Jan. 29, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.
Lt. Lichty served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/FOD/KIA off the coast of Tunisia in the Mediterranean Sea and awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a crew member on a B-26 bomber which was shot down by enemy planes.

Joseph Carl Lilleg was born Aug. 12, 1915 to Mathias and Angela Ellen Schaefer Lilleg. He died June 24, 1994 and is buried in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.
WOHC Lilleg served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
