Francis James “Frank” Gallagher was born Apr. 3, 1920 to Patrick Henry and Mary Collins Gallagher. He died Oct. 19, 2002 and is buried in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.

1st Lt. Gallagher served in World War II with the U.S. Army 12th Armored Division, 23rd Headquarters Battalion, fighting at the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was married to 1st. Lt. Eunice Fay Waller who also served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Patrick Martin Gallagher was born Dec. 11, 1921 to Patrick Henry and Mary Collins Gallagher. He died Apr. 16, 2011 and is buried in Ankeny Memorial Gardens, Ankeny, IA.

Patrick served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Delbert Anthony Gantenbein was born May 21, 1927 to Clifford and Vivian Mary “Mary" Barry Gantenbein. He died June 26, 1972 and is buried in Assumption B V M Cemetery, Pulaski, WI. Petty Officer Gantenbein served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Gordon Joseph “Gordy” Gantenbein was born June 27, 1927 to Gail Ulrich and Florence Lillian Lane Gantenbein. He died Feb. 26, 2005 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Riverton, WY.

Petty Officer Gantenbein served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

LeRoy Gass was born June 25, 1914 to Edwin Luther M. and Louisa Kluss Gass. He died Sept. 21, 2009 and is buried in Postville Cemetery, Clayton County, IA.

Sgt. Gass served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th “Red Bull" Division in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and North Africa. He was taken prisoner in the battle of Faid Pass and spent 27 months in German POW camps.

Arthur Albert Gaulthier was born Feb. 26, 1920 to Peter and Margaret Franklin Olloff Gaulthier. He died May 7, 1994 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing, IA.

Pvt. Gaulthier served in World War II with the U.S. Army 134th Infantry.

Clair Vincent Gavin was born Jan. 22, 1924 to Michael Joseph and Elizabeth Jane Manning Gavin. He died Oct. 7, 1995 and is buried in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Caledonia, WI.
