This past winter, I accomplished a large amount of transcribing for the Van Buren county site using OmniPage Pro Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software as well as doing some work with Dragon Naturally Speaking (DNS). All county coordinators could benefit from finding out more about productivity tools like these, useful for adding more data to their county sites, especially OCR. I plan to give a 15 or 20 minute demo on OCR and those who have used DNS can share their experiences with everyone else.
