Adam Halboth Family

Adam Halboth was born in Bavaria, Germany June 11, 1830 and died March 28, 1901 in Odebolt. He married Barbara Haefner in 1853 in Dixon, Illinois. She was born June 19, 1834 in Bavaria, Germany and died March 2, 1911. They are buried in the Odebolt, Iowa Cemetery.   They were the parents of 10 children.

      Rosa Christina was born September 11, 1873 in Lee County, Illinois and died June 4, 1955 in Ida Grove. She married Louis Conroth Volz April 21, 1894. He was born December 2, 1861 in Cambridge, Ohio and died March 14, 1934 near Arthur, Iowa. They were the parents of two children.

            Alva Louis was born April 3, 1895 in Arthur, Iowa and died September 5, 1922. He married Helen Hartong May 3, 1915. She was born January 21, 1897 in Arthur and died April 8, 1979 in Ida Grove. They are buried in the Ida Grove, Iowa Cemetery. They were the parents of three children.

a. Orris A. was born near Arthur, Iowa February 26, 1917 and died October 12, 1998 in Ida Grove. He is buried in Ida Grove Cemetery.

b.      Marjorie was born near Arthur, Iowa December 2, 1915. She married Joseph W. Brown December 31, 1936 at Odebolt, Iowa. He was born March 29, 1913 in Ida County and died May 10, 1984 in Ida Grove. He is buried in Ida Grove, Iowa. They had no children.

c. Gale Curtis was born August 23, 1930 was born near Arthur, Iowa.

            Eugene P. was born July 6, 1902 in Arthur, Iowa. He married Evelyn Stickel. They had three children.

      Henrietta D. Halboth was born December 22, 1861 at West Brooklyn, Lee County, Illinois and died April 13, 1948. She married Frederick Brucker July 3, 1879 at Sac City, Iowa. He was born at Phillipsburg, Alsace, Lorraine, France July 22, 1853 and he died October 10, 1932 at Arthur, Iowa. They were the parents of six children.

            Josephine A. was born December 17, 1879 in Sac County, Iowa and died December 19, 1953 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She married Henry E. Penrod January 24, 1900. He was born in 1872 and died in 1957. They are buried in the Odebolt Cemetery. They were the parents of two children.

            Julius Adam Brucker was born August 8, 1884 in Ida County and died December 9, 1953. He married Vernal Serena Baker November 12, 1908. She was born March 13,1889 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa and died November 14, 1967 in Ida Grove, Iowa. They are buried in the Ida Grove, Iowa Cemetery. They were the parents of nine children.

a. Elna Marie was born May 29, 1909 in Arthur, Iowa and died February 25, 1994 at Lake View, Iowa. She married Allen Scott Hoaglund June 30, 1927 at Ida Grove, He was born in Arthur, Iowa about 1897. They had two children.

b.      Dorothy Clara was born July 22, 1910 in Ida County. She married Carroll Mason Hoaglund on May 8, 1927 in Arthur, Iowa. He was born October 5, 1904 in Crawford County, Iowa and died June 1967. They are buried in the Ida Grove Cemetery. Children.

1.      Barbara was born January 8, 1928 in Ida Grove and died March 19, 1996 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She married Earl Clark June 9, 1946 in Ida Grove. He died in 1978. He was born in Arthur, Iowa. They had four children.

c.   Hazel V. married Willard I. “Whitey” Raasch December 18, 1930 in Odebolt, Iowa. He was born December 19, 1908 and died December 14, 1992 in Sioux City, Iowa. They had three children.

d.      Louise was born October 29, 1913 in Ida County. She married Howard Mandernach December 6, 1934. He was born June 24, 1909 in Clinton Township, Sac County, Iowa and died January 27, 1998 in Ida Grove. They have three children.

e.   Willys was born in 1915 in Ida County. She married Walter Petersen   September 13, 1936. He was born in Woodbury County, Iowa. She married Cleo Perkins. He was born in 1916.

f. Vernette married Orville Worth. He was born August 27, 1915 and died May 1971.

g. Pearl married H.D. Higgans

h. Julius E. was born February 13, 1917 in Ida County.

            Lewis John Brucker was born July 22, 1886 in Ida County and died November 5, 1956 in Lake View. He married Ida Bair in McPherson, Kansas on August 14, 1909. She was born April 25, 1890 in Spring Valley, and died November 18, 1936 in Sac County. They are buried in the Odebolt, Iowa Cemetery. They were the parents of five children

a. Ida L. was born November 23, 1910 in Ida County and died June 5, 1939 in Sac County, Iowa. She married Joe W. Carlson. He was born in 1900 and died September 30, 1965 in Sac County. They had two children.

1.      Joyce Arlene was born in 1932 and died February 2, 1936 in Sac county.

b.      Russell Lewis was born July 10, 1912 in Arthur, Iowa and died April 20, 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska. He married Edith Josephine Corrin. They are buried in Omaha, Nebraska. They had five children.

c. Israel “Lavern”-married Lois Walters. They had at least two children.

d.      Zola Henrietta was born May 5, 1916 in Ida County. She married John Edward Gunderson August 2, 1937. He was born December 25, 1912 and died November 6, 1987. They had four children.

e. Harley Wilson Brucker was born December 23, 1917 in Ida County and died December 22, 1992 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He married Carol Marie Wagner. They had three children.

            Rosina Julia was born April 2, 1888 in Ida County and died October 18, 1971. She married Albert Byron Compton August 6, 1905 in Ida Grove. He was born December 18, 1883 in Centerville, WI and died July 3,1914 near Arthur, Iowa in a car accident. They are buried in the Odebolt, Iowa Cemetery. They were the parents of five children.

a. Pearl Henrietta was born February 15, 1906 in Ida County and died August 6, 1983 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Roscoe Kolb June 1, 1927 at Arthur, Iowa. He was born May 18, 1904 in Ida County and died July 5,1998 in Ida Grove. They had one child.

b.      Alice Josephine was born February 1, 1907 in Ida County and died November 1, 1983 in Sioux City. She married Andrew Irwin April 10, 1929. He was born in Five Mile Town, Tyrone, Ireland May 1, 1898 and died August 24, 1968 in Sioux City, Iowa. They had one child.

c. Rosina Alberta was born March 28, 1909 in Ida County. She married Harold J. Conover August 3, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born September 4, 1908 in Ida County and died December 8, 1932 in Arthur, Iowa. They had one child.

            Louise Catherine was born September 15, 1896 near Arthur, Iowa and died June 22, 1991 in Odebolt, Iowa. She married Almer Marion Alderson June 20, 1917 in Sioux City, Iowa. He died December 7, 1954   in Sac County, Iowa. They are buried in the Schaller, Iowa Cemetery. They were the parents of four children.

a. Harold was born March 9, 1918 in Ida County and died February 4, 1988 in Schaller, Iowa. He married Naomi Cuppy in 1946 in Elk Point, South Dakota.

            B. Julia was born September 30,1898 in Clinton township, Sac County, Iowa and died December 8, 1918 in Sac County.

5. Frederick Halboth was born in 1856 or 1857 and died October 9, 1929 in Sac County. He married Elizabeth “Lizzie” Reutzel. She was born in 1860 and died in 1942. They are buried in Odebolt, Iowa Cemetery. They had four children.

             A. Louis was born April 1893 and died August 7, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa.

7. Adam Lewis Halboth was born May 3, 1855 in Lee County, Illinois and died March 1, 1941. He married Margaret Louisa Yost March 28, 1879. She was born in 1859 and died January 10, 1928 in Sac County, Iowa. They are buried in Odebolt, Iowa   Cemetery. They were the parents of 10 children.

               A. Julius Lewis was born November 29,1894 near Odebolt, and died March 21, 1924 in Odebolt, Iowa. He married Minnie May Hannel February 18, 1919. She was born May 16, 1896 in Corydon, Indiana and died March 8, 1996 in Odebolt, Iowa. Minnie married Dr. William E. Hart in 1929 after the death of Julius. She and Julius had one child.

            Mable K. was born in 1892 and died in 1949. She married Fred G. Geyer. He was born in 1887 and died August 6, 1959 in Sac county. They are buried in Odebolt, Iowa Cemetery. They had two children.

a. Fay Irwin Geyer was born August 28, 1913 in Sac County and died August 4, 1992 in Faribault. He married Esther Obman December 15, 1937. They had four children.
