Marston will be dean of the engineering school, and Major Agg will take his place on the engineering faculty. The two men entered military service shortly after the war began and were finally booked to go overseas in November about the time of the signing of the armistice. James Fitzgerald of Sioux City, who has been in the ambulance service overseas for some months, has been awarded the cross of honor by the Italian government for gallantry in action. Private Fitzgerald participated in the last great Italian drive against the Austrians. In the letter apprising his father of the honor that had been bestowed upon him he said nothing about the specific act which won him the honor, but said "it all came in the day's work." He saw service on the Mexican border before going across the seas.
