The Adair News Adair, Iowa 24 May 1918 |
|
The amount of wheat flour which any one may have at a time is 6 pounds
for each person in his family, but not to exceed 1/8 barrel by a town
customer of 1/4 barrel by a rural customer. Nearly 45,000 Iowa men are
now in France and others are going all the time. Who wants to feel that
he is eating flour that these men should have?
About 60 Indians
were in the last increment that arrived at Camp Dodge, most of them men
from the Standing Rock Agency in North Dakota. |
