Sergeant Earl Caddock on Monday evening at Kansas City won
from Hussane in a fast wrestling match, getting two falls in
less than an hour. Wednesday evening in Chicago, Caddock met
Zbyszko in a second match and while he did not get a fall he
was given a clear referee's decision Zbyszko weighed 230
pounds while Caddock weighed 183.

The town purchased a total of $60,300 in Liberty Bonds and
the two banks of Adair handled the subscriptions of the
patrons of their banks living in the territory surrounding.
Adair handled a total of $122,200.00.
Bernal Trumbul,
Maurice Hickey, Howard Cubberly, Kenneth Rowley, Melvin
Magarrell, Ernest Schmidt, Oliver Shobert, James Cooper and
Fred Lovell are the Adair boys in France.
C. H. Brandt,
junior member of the firm of I. J. Swarzman & Co., has
responded to the call of our country and is now in the service
in the National Army. |
