LIBERTY BOND SALE CLOSES TONIGHT

Fayette County Will Fall Short of
Furnishing
Her Half Million Dollars For Hunamity.

The local banks have been informed that all applications for bonds
must be in Chicago by noon tomorrow, and this means that if you want to
be enrolled in this great demonstration in this great demonstration for
the protection of our boys at the front, who are fighting your battles,
you must get your application in to-day.
Every cent of the
proceeds of the Liberty Bonds issue is to be spent with the American
people. It will be paid to the farmers for food and other products of
their farms, for clothing, for leather, it will be paid to the manufacturers of this country for
manufacted products not only in the way of munitions and armament, but of
all manufactured products that soldiers and armies use. That portion of
the loan which is loaned the Allies will be so spent. In
subscribing to the Liberty Loan the American people are lending to
their best customers and enabling him to purchase more liberally from
them.
Today has been a recird breaker in West Union, and many
are subscribing -- and will be disappointed if they are not supplied.
