and wounded at Vicksburg and Tupelo. Mustered out a 3rd Sergeant
1866. Married Margaret Kirkwood, April 15, 1868. Father of John C.,
Charles E., and Susan A. A Hopkinton merchant, postmaster,
banker and Lenox trustee. Died December 19, 1902.
